The Status of Alternative Assessment in Morocco: Teachers’ Attitudes and Obstacles

Assessment is a fundamental part in language teaching/learning process. It guiding factor that provides insight to teachers and learners about the best way proceed. The literature assessment rich. includes different forms techniques of assessment. In this paper, however, focus mainly on alternative latter both form nature from traditional Researchers confirm if applied properly, can reflect students’ progress motivate them keep up hard work. This hence, aims study attitude toward main obstacles may hinder its application Moroccan classroom. research quantitative. uses questionnaire as data collection tool. findings indicate hold positive assessment, but they fail apply it their classroom due obstacles.
